Alex Muniz and his wife, Geysa Muniz, saw an opportunity to rent trucks to surfers who needed 4-wheel drive vehicles to explore the country’s beautiful beaches. In 2009, Economy Rent A Car decided to expand its brand internationally, affiliating with strong and independent companies to join the Economy family. Today, Economy Rent A Car has a presence in over 100 cities around the world.
